New Moon Yin - Open Level
with Mel Howard

October 3 (Thursday)
at 7:00 pm

Class length
75 minutes

Location
Osborne Park Studio

 Medicine for the soul.

Soak in the sacred energy of the new moon as you journey inward through a nurturing blend of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. The new moon marks the beginning of Mother Moon’s cycle, a potent time for reflection, deep rest, and planting the seeds of new intentions. Though the moon may appear invisible, her energy is rich with possibility and renewal.

This 75-minute class begins with deeply supportive Yin Yoga, using bolsters, blocks, and blankets to gently open your physical and energetic bodies. Long-held, floor-based postures (3–5 minutes each) help dissolve tension, soften the heart, and create space for your inner voice to be heard.

You don’t need to be flexible or experienced , this practice is for everyone.

Following the yin sequence, you'll be guided into Yoga Nidra, a powerful meditation often called "yogic sleep." As you journey through the layers of your being (pancha maya kosha), you’ll find profound relaxation, clarity, and a deeper connection to your inner wisdom.

Benefits of this class include:
✨ Accessing deeper rest and relaxation
✨ Supporting the setting of new intentions
✨ Reducing stress, overthinking, and anxiety
✨ Easing sleep issues and supporting adrenal recovery
✨ Connecting to your heart’s truest desires

This beautiful combination of practices activates the parasympathetic nervous system ("rest and digest" mode), allowing your body and mind to move into deep cellular renewal.

Gift yourself the space to slow down, listen inward, and begin again.
