PELVIC FLOOR MASTERCLASS (for guys too!!) 

Promoting balance and support in and around the pelvis & spine can be complex, especially since we all hold different neuromuscular patterns, many of which influence our core - muscles and fascia that weave intricately within the pelvis & spine, to stabilise us.

Bringing awareness to this centre of the body, as well as around it, can help us connect to dynamic stability, so we can balance without becoming rigid & stiff!

This particular masterclass has provided great benefit for those who have experienced spinal, pelvic or abdominal injury or restriction, so it really is suitable for all - we all have a pelvic floor to keep healthy!

Being the 'core' of the pelvis, pelvic floor health is a core focus...being so pivotal in sexual function (especially males), prostate and cervical health, continence of bladder and bowel and support of the abdominal contents - a complex network of organs, muscles & pipes! 

All these bits inside the pelvis need SPACE to function well and allow the organs to be massaged by free movement within this space. As well of course, muscles need adequate strength to stabilise, but also the ability to relax when we need them to (i.e. to go to the toilet..without pushing!)

Creating pelvic space, finding deep muscular strength & relaxation, and creating movement within the abdomen is our core (gosh I love this word ;) goal in this session.

Whether you're pregnant or trying, have a 'touchy' or stiff lower back, or need more freedom in your hip joints, these sessions are a gentle, yet effective way to create the support your body needs.

We will connect to breath and move in ways that free your body and help with balance, coordination & posture. You'll learn how to stabilise from the inside-out, which is key to minimising pain & restriction in your physical training or sport.

This 2 hour Pelvic Floor / Performance workshop will get your body moving in gentle yet strong ways to support your body.
